A good bagel is all about balance. The Pickled Chopped Bagel has a spread that blends salmon, pickled asparagus, dill seasonings, and a squeeze of lemon juice for a perfectly loaded bite every single time. 

Pickled Chopped Bagel

These pantry safe items, dill seasonings, and cream cheese make it easy to have a briny morning with a schmear you can whip together in minutes. Just spread on a toasted everything bagel to start your day off right! 

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Toast an everything bagel while you prep the schmear.  
  2. Scoop the cream cheese onto a cutting board and push it down with the back of the spoon to spread it out slightly to create your mixing base. 
  3. Layer on the good stuff. Fluff the tin fish salmon and put it on top, of the cream cheese followed by the chopped pickled asparagus. Drizzle a little pickle brine over everything for that extra briny kick. 
  4. Add slices of red onion and fresh dill sprigs, then sprinkle your seasoning and add a splash of fresh lemon juice. 
  5. Using a knife, chop everything in various directions. 
  6. Then use a spatula to mix together until it’s well combined into a chunky, creamy mixture. 
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture generously over a toasted everything bagel and plate with a side of Sun Dried Tomato Stuffed Olives (or your fav pickles) for extra snacking.
