Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Optional garnish: Fresh parsley, finely chopped
If your favorite part of the meal is the appetizer, you're going to love this one. This fried basket is bringing the crunch. We sliced pickles into fry-shaped strips, tossed in a handful of olives, and coated everything in a crispy breading that you can’t get enough of.
Air fried until golden and served with warm cheese dip. It's the kind of appetizer that disappears long before dinner is ready. Perfect for game days, backyard cookouts, or just because.

Recipe Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- While it heats, slice the pickle spears into fry-sized strips, then place them on a paper towel with the olives and pat everything dry. The drier they are, the crispier they'll get.
- Whisk the eggs in a wide, shallow bowl until well blended.
- Add the flour to a separate shallow bowl.
- In another bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, and the seasoning blend.
- Coat each pickle fry and olive by coating it into the flour, then the egg, shaking off any excess before pressing it into the seasoned breadcrumbs mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange the pickles and olives in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil. Air fry for 10 minutes and halfway through flip everything over and spray again. Check how they’re doing to see if you need to cook another 5 minutes, so they are crispy and light golden brown.
- Transfer to a serving basket or platter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if that's your thing and serve with warm cheese dip for drizzling or dunking.
